I'm Jane! I’m a multidisciplinary designer who excels at closing the gap between clean, corporate professionalism and vibrant, lifestyle-driven visuals.

I don’t tie myself to a single aesthetic; I maintain a consistent sense of usability and clarity across all of my work. I live by the “less is more” philosophy, yet I’ve developed a keen intuition for balance. I know exactly when a project requires a disciplined, structured framework to solve a complex problem; and when to incorporate that strategic pop of personality to make brands truly connect.

BRANDING

Course Work: Brand Identity

To me, branding is more than just designing a fun logo, it’s about building a cohesive aesthetic that tells a story, making an unforgettable first impression. My academic and internship work challenged my design thinking, allowing me to dissect audiences and build target visual languages from scratch.

TYPOGRAPHY

Course Work: Typography I, Typography II, & Brand Identity

I believe typography is the foundation for every design project. It dictates how information is read and absorbed. My coursework has expanded my skillset in typographic anatomy, layout hierarchy, and pairing. I utilize typography in my work as both a function system for clarity and a powerful tool for visual expression.

UI / UX DESIGN

Course Work: Interactive Design

Good interface design means that the user can navigate the system without any issues. My coursework shifted my mindset from purely visual aesthetics to user-centered functionality. Through digital projects, I’ve expanded my skills to create accurate personas, functional wireframes, and response interfaces that are easy to navigate and are visually engaging.

WEB DESIGN

Course Work: Web Design

Similar to UI/UX Design, successful website design relies on functional layouts that are easy for the user to navigate. My work has challenged me to rethink how visual storytelling works in a digital space. My focus is to create cohesive visual hierarchies with flexible grid systems, while keeping seamless web experiences across all screen sizes.

ILLUSTRATION

Course Work: Illustration, and Digital Illustration

Illustration is my creative outlet to fully express myself. Through coursework and free-time practice, I’ve developed an illustrative voice while adapting it to different project needs. From vector iconography and digital drawings, I've grown to appreciate the advancement of sketches into polished, high-quality visuals.

PRINT DESIGN

Course Work: Relief & Intaglio

I'm proud to say my work extends beyond the screen and into the tactical world of printmaking. This transition to the physical art world has broadened my digital design skills and deepened my understanding of how digital layouts will translate into print, packaging, brands, etc.
